Looks like a change is happening. The past few days I've noticed a little throbbing in one big toe occasionally and my shoulders are starting to take a little while longer to unlock in the morning.

Also noticed a bit of lifting of a nail on my thumb, that's usually a sign of psoriatic arthritis for me.

Also got this little diamond on my hand, never had that before.

Putting psoriatic arthritis score up to 2.

Inconvenient signs Fred. I hope they will lower again.

Yes I hope so Caroline, but I have an appointment in October and Taltz is now available here for psoriatic arhtritis so at least there is something else to try.

But for now a score of 2 isn't too bad so I'll hang on in there.

Oooh dear Fred that's a shame, hope fully it's just a blip and will come back down ...could there be another reason causing the flare up, like stress or an infection
I hope you don't need to change as it would be a shame after such a short time on it Confused

Oil drops. I've had plenty of them, Fred. At least there are more options for you and you wont be tormented with delays if you want something else. So if it is getting you down at least cheer yourself up knowing that you have more ability to change things than many others afflicted. Thumb

It will be 2 years next month Jim so it's not done bad. I have been feeling tired the past couple of weeks, but just put it down to the heat. Apart from that no stress or infection, and it is only a small change at the moment.

No it's not getting me down Bill, I'm just keeping notes for future reference. And like you say I do have Taltz to move on to, it had already looked like I would be doing that in the Autumn anyway.

I'm still not sure about switching as Cosentyx has been the best thing ever for the psoriatic arthritis. But it does look like it's failing as three weeks between shots has made no difference, so the switch is looking more likely. But I'll see in October.  Smile

Hi Fred, I too have had these oils spots when my skin has been very bad, but I don’t suffer with the psoriatic arthritis, my psoriasis is mostly skin plaques, although I have had joint pains but nothing else diagnosed along the arthritis.  P.

I am very sorry to hear cosentyx may not be working for you now and wish you well if you switch.

Thought I would put a little update before going to my dermatologist next Wednesday.

The psoriatic arthritis had gone back down from 2 to 1 and the thumbnail did not lift away from the bed in the end.

The psoriasis is still much the same at 5 but as expected I'm feeling a flare starting at the moment due to the website problems.

Still not sure which way to go next week. I can't make my mind up to either stay on Cosentyx another 6 months or move to Tatlz.

Will have to do some thinking soon.  91
