That sounds great Fred , my dermatologist mentioned that they had started using it on my last visit and I have a few P patches but the main thing is that the PsA has got worse recently and I am taking too many pain killers. My next appointment is at the end of February so I will have to see what happens.

Push for it Dave. I've never had anything as good as this for psoriatic arthritis.

How do costs compare between the two.

Hang on I'll check.

Stelara: €2766 per dose x 4 per year = €11064

Coesntyx: €1139 x 12 per year = €13668

Obviously this is the price in France but the patient pays Zero as it's a long term illness. Or if you don't want to go to your GP every 5 years for a certificate you or you insurance will pay 35% of that price.

EDIT: Forgot to add that Stelara 45 or 90mg is the same price. Also you will need a little more than stated as they work by weeks and not months I gave the yearly price based on months.

Not lot between them , I don't think that there will be a problem if I could change.
Thanks for the information Mr Fred.

That is going well Fred.
It is very clear that Cosentyx targets an inhibitor that is specifically connected to your PsA. I think it may be different with others, but on the other hand I also have the idea that the IL-17 is very related to Psoriasis as a whole.

Long may it last! Cheers ! 15

Thank you Caroline. I haven't felt this good for a long log time, and even if this one fails there is now Taltz to try and that too targets IL-17

I'll have the drink later. 15

Just a note for future reference. No diarrhoea or stomach problems, so it must have just been a coincidence last time.

Does it knock your restistance like Stelara or MTX if so I have found that it doesn't take a lot to upset your stomach, pick up a bug or two in something like cream yogurt or mayonnaise and you have a problem.
