My other halfs step dad has psoriasis and has recently started Otezla and got amazing clearance with no side effects. I've never heard of it before! Is anyone else on it?
Anyone tried Otezla

Hi there
I am on Acetretin, it is working quite well but side-effects are annoying. I have about 80% clearance. I am interested in Otezla - is this available in the UK? I thought NICE had prevented it from being prescribed here?

Could it be because she is in Scotland? Welcome to Psoriasis Club by the way.

I just remembered I had posted it last year: Another knock for Otezla from the UK
So yes it's in Scotland but was rejected for England and Wales for not meeting cost effectiveness. So I would imagine they are offering it free to try and convince England and Wales to change their mind. |
