It's difficult to stop and can actually be satisfying or even pleasurable to do, but it's not good for psoriasis and you have to tell yourself that each Scratch/Itch will make it worse.
Things you could try.
#1 Very short nails.
#2 Gloves when you don't need to use your hands.
#3 Ice to sooth the itch.
#4 Reduce the time you scratch. For example 1 minute scratching and then tell yourself you can not do it again for 1 hour, aim to reduce the time of the scratching and the time between the allowed time for a scratch.
It is very hard to stop, but keep telling yourself "You are making it worse"
