But if the ankles don't start to subside it may be worth asking to increase to 5 a day just to get total clearance .... When you have that after a couple of months you can start to reduce to a maintenance dose, for me if I go below 4 tablets I get the plaques start to reappear

The White spots don't worry me either as it's not like psoriasis and nobody shies away from a few white spots
I'm sure your ankles will clear, there is usually somewhere stubborn to remind you that you have the disease
Yeah my next appointment is the 22nd feb so i'll ask for an increase of 5. Yeah very true i always feel like its going to get worse again because its still there. Its hard socially when you want to wear a dress, heels ect. Its the legs that are so stubborn. Its strange how some bits just linger
Yes it's always there at the back of your mind it's the first thing I think of in the morning and I'm always relieved even now, when it's still clear. I used to dread going to get my hair cut and prepared my scalp for a week before I dared go
85 I have the same problem with dresses 85 I'm putting that before anyone else does....
I still cant believe that im practically clear no flaking its amazing. Yeah i can relate to that too, always in the back of your mind. Effecting little things throughout the day, but now im much happier with life. I'm an active person so it sometimes held me back in that respect.
Lmao too much info  Big Grin

Normally there is no relation between psoriasis and psoriasis medication and loss of pigment. Also DMF does not have a historic relation to loss of pigment.
If your skin is still red, than that is a good sign. Just as Jim says, a few months at a slightly higher dose and then going back again might solve it. Take care of your lymphocytes !!! (I will keep on telling that, as it is very important)

If your skin is really turning white, than it may be caused by something different described in this thread Has anyone else experienced this.
It's not to hope that you have that, in that case you will have to mask it when wearing a dress.

I still have the odd patch that is a different colour. On my back you can still see where I had large flakes due to chicken pox, and the bottom front of my legs is always a little bit red.

None of it is like red raw, but you can see a difference. However we are all different and heal in different ways, plus I think it depends how severe the psoriasis was and how long you had it.

I tjink it's under the skin and its probably been at ots worst on my lower legs. Although i was surprised how the back of my arms cleared so well.

I've never heard of stelara? How long have you been on it if you don't mind me asking ?
