Hi All
How you all doing? My 7 year anniversary with Stelera tomorrow Still going great with it. Due injection end of week so I have a few spots on elbows and knees, absolutely nothing compared to years gone by. A bit of another boring update as luckily Stelera is still working its magic. I still have problems with pigmentation, particularly my face which has never got any better. Legs still have stained looking skin on them too. Scars do not fade like they used to before Stelera, I am not sure if this is because of Stelera or I am just getting old ?. My last derm appointment, I didn’t get to see my consultant and my next appointment was made for a year, due back in November. I haven’t had my bloods done during this time so it will be a year between them. I think I will discuss this at next appointment. Hope you are all well. Angie

Hello Angie good to see you again, all good in my world thank you.
The pigmentation can take a while to change, I still have two parts on my shins that have never recovered. As for the scars fading I don't think Stelara would make them worse, so yes it must be old age. Seven year! where has the time gone. I lasted just over 6 with it but changed in the end as it wasn't helping the psoriatic arthritis any more, but I still think it's one of the best bio's. Long may it continue to work for you. Re bloods, I no longer have regular blood tests. My dermatologist said they were not necessary unless I have a problem, plus my GP likes to do a full blood test if I haven't seen her for a year the next time I go in. Take care and do come back occasionally to update, your input could be helping others.

Thanks Fred
Yeah more than likely the old age! Will keep coming back with my 2 pence worth, hopefully continue to bore you with no change for years to come. Take care. Angie

Hi Angie glad to hear from you and that you are doing well.
I am still on the Stelara and it must be around nine years since I started with it though I have to inject my 90 shot every ten weeks now. I only see the dermatologist once a year now but I do have a blood test a couple of times a year. I have a little bit of P in and around the ears but other than that it's great. Don't have any other problems and I am hoping that they will keep me on it as I get older. Take care and it's great to hear from you.
