Morning fellow P sufferer's.

I know us P sufferer's are different with our lotions & potions etc but i found by mixing pine oil into the coconut oil & covering my P has reduced the scaling right down big time.

Has anyone else tried these items before ?

Pine oil is smelly but not as wiffy as coal tar.

In fact, i would say it is rather pleasant.

I don't think you will smell like a walking New Forest put it that way lol.

I wish you had made it clear that you are supposed to rub it on all over. I drizzled it over my salad. It was tasty though.

Biona virgin Coconut oil is working well on reducing my P.

The only downfall with it, it's solid as hell & difficult to stick your finger in it to get some out.

I spooned some out into a small tub & put it in the microwave to melt it then rubbed it all over.

Though i must admit, it's rather wiffy but not unpleasant.

Happy scratching

I prefer it solid as it doesn't drip all over the place, try warming it to liquid and poring it into Ice cube trays. Store it in the Fridge in little squares, less mess and cool and soothing on the skin.

That's true Fred.

I just wish it were a little softer. Confused

I wonder if i could make up something like Menthol Aqueous Cream ? [Image: m0124.gif]

Get some Menthol crystals & mix it in with the coconut oil to cool my skin down !!! Thumb

Mind you, i'd need another fur coat on to keep me warm ! lol [Image: m2254.gif]

Happy scratching

I tried whisking it once as I heard if you do it fast enough it will turn to a cream with the air inside it, but I don't think my little hand whisker thing was powerful enough as it didn't work.

On a side note I did read once, it's not a good idea to microwave it as it can destroy some of the good stuff in there.
