Sometimes it's worth riding it out for a while when starting a new treatment as it may take time for your body to adjust, but do keep an eye on it to see if it gets any worse.

Hi Kelly I hope you can ride out the side effects as the alternative is not good for you, as Fred says try to stick with it and hopefully they won't get worse.
You are used to drinking plenty and a good lip moisturiser should ease the lips and Optrex do some good eye lotions which may help if available in the US
good luck Thumb and stay positive

Hi everyone,
Quick update on my progress with Acitrecin. I'm starting to notice changes. Weeks 2 & 3 I had a lot of peeling & flaking - way more than normal, End of week 3 my skin started to turn from bright red to light pink. Now in week 4 and light pink is gradually fading. Peeling and flaking has gone way down I've not had any new spots since starting this medication.

Keep you posted !

That is great news Kelly!! I've noticed the places on my legs, stomach, elbows are better, not much change (maybe a little, some days I think it's better, other days not so much) for scalp, ears, face and upper back yet for me but I'm still hopeful. So happy it's working for you though!!

I notice the same Kat - some days seems like they are fading other days not so much. How long have you been on it now?

So you all be the judge. Notice any difference? Progress is so darn slow for me.
