Well I think that gradual improvement is the nature of DMF Jim. And although the photo from January 2013 looks bad, at the time I was very impressed with my progress since starting DMF in November 2012. There was certainly good progress to May 2013 in the photo with Oscar.

Yes I agree a tremendous improvement and it doesn't matter that it takes time to clear . The lasting effects are worth the wait.....

In the last photo is that the raw DMF and the scales for weighing... The complete DIY kit with the other picture
( you will have to market the kit and sell it around the world Bill ) obviously with a disclaimer

I'd rather stay out of jail, Jim. What I have shown is that DMF may be more effective raw. It is certainly much cheaper. A script for Tecfidera in Australia sells for just under $1900 through the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme. The DMF I purchased cost $2-15 for the same quantity.

Sandy and Snowy are toy poodles, but they only wear bow ties on formal occasions.

I was certainly not mindful of the risk of leukopenia, but I would prefer to take DMF as I do now, rather than the pharmaceutical preparations. I think my current treatment safer and more effective than what is on offer. It is no longer a matter of bravery if it ever was, although I might try to make the DMF a little more palatable by wrapping it in toffee.

It is good to listen to your body sometimes, Jim. I agree that you need a plan B though, especially as you can get a nasty relapse going cold turkey with mtx. As an aside, did you read about Kyle Bass's patent challenge for Tecfidera?

If I read this correctly BIll.... What an impossible bunch of liars this Tecfidera guys and the hedge fund is of course absolutely disgusting in stealing money, can't call it earning, that should be used for the sake of patients.

I dont think the question of Kyle Bass' character matters much. He is simply trying to exploit an opportunity. I am far more concerned by the vast number of specialists who do not challenge the status quo. Because of the unusual status of DMF as both a pharmaceutical and industrial chemical (bisphosphonates are another, but are a class of chemicals), it could enable health services around the world to treat patients more effectively and at lower cost. It is sad to see instead the public interest abandoned for the sake of sweet deals with pharmaceutical companies.

I will take my next dose of DMF between two flattened jelly beans!
