Glad you're ok and nothing is broken. What about your head? I hope you don't have a concussion. Were you wearing a helmet?

Hi KatT, No concussion and wearing a helmet, but it hit the ground so I will replace it. Feeling much better now.
Cheers

Glad you are not too damaged Bill, and wise to get an x-ray. I have seen it in carbon forks before under heavy breaking, not common though. Personally I prefer Aluminium forks, while they will bend they don't usually fail catastrophically

Thank you Craig. I hit the front of the car hard enough to clear the bonnet with my bike. I will stick with metal forks.
A boring update. The white cell count has remained good. I am pre-dosing with 4 grams glutamine, 1.3 grams NAC, and 4 grams creatine. I suspect that this is preventing apoptosis of the lymphocytes. The postherpetic neuralgia is settling: the nerves are recovering, but I still get an annoying itch around my eye. I was giving myself heaps of b1/b12 injections, a few hundred in all, an attempt to speed up my recovery, but I feel it achieved little if anything. I will continue with monthly b1/b12 injections. Next blood test in January. Cheers

Far from boring Bill those supplements seem to be having a positive effect on your blood, you must be really happy with the lymphocyte count I don't remember mine ever being that high since I started recording results and all the other results are good.
Hope the skin is still reasonably clear and the arthritis is under control Great to read the update

Yes I second Jim, it's a good update. Doesn't matter if it's "boring" I'm just pleased to see people popping back to give an update. It's what keeps the place ticking over Bill

What is NAC? Bill
...... edit..... never mind, I see it is n acetyl cysteine, from your other post.

Thanks Jim and Fred. Yes, it is nice to have a buffer with my dosing. I will see if the count holds up in future tests.
