This is my scalp. The photos aren't great and my scalp is much more inflamed then it looks on here, but you can kind of see whats going on.

It does sound and look like psoriasis but im with Fred you should get a professional dignosis. in fact i would get another doctor if he has prescribed but not confirmed it is psoriasis himself. Thumbsdown and try not to scratch it as making it weep is not good NoNo

That sounds very similar to when I had my pustular psoriasis at it's worst.

The only difference is that I had a creamy yellow liquid ( from the pustlues) not green.
My hair was very long back then and i was forced to have it cut shorter as the weight of my hair on my cracked scalp was sloughing the skin off. eek

I agree with using peas to cool down the scalp. I didn't manage to find a shampoo or conditioner to suit but I would use a very soft brush (like a baby brush) on my hair and I'd rub coconut oil (love the stuff) into my scalp then wrap clingfilm round my head for a bit to help it penetrate.

I wonder if you could get pure soap and add chamomile, as the lack of additives and soothing effect of the herb may be helpful. Have to add that I'm no expert though so don't take my word for it.

Also, a second opinion is a must!

I can relate well to what you are describing, however the oozing of liquid is not like me, however you could be allergic to something in the treatment the GP has given you if it is now sore and tight/red looking.
Behind the ears is very familiar to me, I get this all the time, Dovobet helps in the short term, but in the longer term you could try Silkis, as you can use it daily and it keeps it at bay, as long as it is not too long established.
You can get both of these on prescription from your GP.
Hope this helps
