Walking barefoot would be great if my floors were cleaner and not in reno state. I miss outdoors and barefoot. Too many cracks and burst skin patches. I absolutely love wool socks and haven’t been able to wear them since all this started. I just stand on top of my slide on slippers and kind of glide around the house. The cat hates it hahaha

It’s funny what cats hate! Mine runs off if I’m opening a bottle of fizzy pop but I don’t know why..

Hello everyone! I haven't been here for a long time but it's so good to see the forum is still going strong.

I have recently had an official diagnosis of PPP which was triggered when I did the Camino de Santiago Frances 2017. It started as a small patch under the inside of my right ankle and gradually migrated across my sole from left to right. I knew what it was and just managed with Epaderm but lately it's been alot more itchy so I've been prescribed Mometasone by the dermatologist. It is so difficult to see a dermo where I live, but luckily 'the skin guy' at the GPs couldn't identify another problem on my arm so I got a referal and a RESULT! Follow up in a couple of months so lets hope there's some improvement by then.

Feet and socks. I now wear exclusively bamboo socks with soft tops from the SockShop. They are super soft and don't irritate the PPP. For shoes I choose Rocket Dogs Jazzin' trainers they have a wide foot bed and a memory foam sole which is supersoft and are 'low cut' so don't irritate ankles. At home around the house always sheep skin slippers (try to bag a bargin in the summer when they are out of season) and I recommend always sizing up by one for a comfortable fit.

Anyway there you go, I hope that might help to know how I cope

That indeed is a long time ago… and yes we are still going strong. Never miss a good forum.

Ppp is quite annoying, I get it that most of it is on your feet? I have seen that once with someone and that did not look good. But good to hear that you are coping at the moment.
I heard somewhere, probably here , that there is a new biologic specifically aimed at ppp, so in case it would get out of hand, you may have an escape card.

Sorry to hear you have got Pustular Psoriasis @Caroline is the one you meant ? Spevigo (spesolimab)

I too have bamboo socks from sockshop but since Brexit finding them harder to get, so I will have to find another supplier but yes bamboo is great for your feet. And I also have sheepskin slippers, I can get them here so nice and cosy in the winter.

I hope you get to mange the PPP it's a nasty one to have to put up with, and I hope to see you popping back again soon even if it's to tell us you've been hiding away on the yacht with Lord Charles
