Interesting thread.

In 2009, I had to go to the ENT at the old Bournemouth hospital because I had sinus problems for months on end and I too couldn't smell.
I had a CAT scan and they couldn't find anything wrong.
However, the sinus infection I had made my breath stink, badly.
For the life of me, I can't remember what I was on medication wise. I'm sure I was on cyclosporine ??
I have had two head injuries in my life, one back in 1982 and the other in 1991 when my head met a house brick launched by a sweet little lad of around 10 years of age Angry

Being on stelara, my sense of smell is good, though I do get pissed off when smokers are around as the stench makes me want to puke Angry

Thank you GB. That helps confirm it's not Stelara related as did the post by Kris.  Thumb

But now I'm still not convinced there isn't a link between loss of smell and psoriasis.  91

Interesting too that you got yours back.

Yes, I did get it back but it took nearly two years ! Confused

A silly question Fred, have ever, even the slightest of knocks, to your head ?

Did you ever get under a trailer or under the cab of your tractor unit ?

I'm just thinking that perhaps you had a slight bump whilst you were doing HGV 1 stuff ????

Its a pleasure Fred.

It would be nice to theorise over a link to Ps, something to blame it on. I doubt we would ever find out.

Of all the senses to loose, it is the easiest to live without.

@Grizzly. They did ask me that and I couldn't remember anything significant. The bump on the head in the past did seem to be something they were more concerned with along with the lump they found, but I don't remember any head trauma.

@John You do have a point, the other senses are more important. Though I do sometimes find it gets me down a bit.
