Depending on my skin situation, I may not make it to Scotland in a few weeks. But I've told my O/H I will NOT cancel it. Don't see why he and Alex should miss out on a break.
Tomato plants didn't make it.
Driving lessons/volunteering on hold until I know what the next step will be.

On the plus side:

We didn't need a new door. A nice, professional guy replaced the panel for £30.  Smile
Alex had an amazing school report. Miles better than last year. So proud.  Heart
Sent off for my provisional ( ever the optimist ).  Wink
Got a tax rebate.  Big Grin

Oh.....and my eldest daughters trip to America went well.
Sneaky little mare got MARRIED to her American/Italian lover in Las Vegas!!!
Told myself and her Dad when she got back.
She's such a free spirit, you've just got to love her.  Big Grin

Fingers crossed here that Scotland will still be on for you and your skin will hold out  Thumb

RIP the tomato plants  Confused
Hopefully the tax rebate covered the cost of the door repair  Whistle

Pass on my congratulations to your daughter , I wish her well in her marriage, yes it was sneaky but she probably didn't want you stressing out about a wedding ( you can still have a party)

More positives than negatives I feel and I hope you get a good replacement therapy to the methotrexate soon

Wonder how long it takes MTX to clear out of your system?
It's been two weeks since I last took it and I haven't flared up.
In fact, I feel great. Smile
I've been able to get out to the theatre, go to lunch with friends (twice), take my boy to a Summer Fayre and his school party..... all in relative comfort. (Bit of dry skin and some itching but manageable).
I'm sure it will start up again but, until then, I'm making the most of my new found freedom.
Happy Days! Big Grin

Great news that you are feeling good and the psoriasis is staying away, I don't know how long it takes to rid yourself of the methotrexate from your system. But the fact you are doing so well without it is brilliant .
Let's hope you stay in remission and it doesn't return
Sleep well  Whistle

85 welcome to my world, ( I'm not always awake this early though it all depends on the time I fall asleep, after 5 hours I'm usually awake, and last night I went to bed at midnight instead of 1.30. Oh well let's hope we can become wimps and sleep more

I think it depends on how much and how long you have been using, I would hazard a guess and say a couple of months to be completely gone. (But it is a guess.)

Don't think about it flaring up again, like you say "Just enjoy it while it's good"  Smile

EDIT: Oh and I'm in the Wimp category, I love sleep. Sleep

Half-Life - The terminal half-life reported for methotrexate is approximately three to ten hours for patients receiving treatment for psoriasis, or rheumatoid arthritis or low dose antineoplastic therapy (less than 30 mg/m2). For patients receiving high doses of methotrexate, the terminal half-life is eight to 15 hours.

I got this from drugs dot com. However, if you're in remission it takes time for new flare to occur. Call it a startup cost. It doesn't necessarily have anything to do with having some active drug in your body.

All I can say is that when I went on to Stelara I was told that I had to have a 6 week period between my last MTX and starting the Stelara .
Will I have to be careful now when I drive in York ?
Are you starting your driving lessons soon ?

Terminal half-life? Ominous terminology. Eek! Confused
You're safe to drive for now D.
Haven't got my provisional licence through yet. Thumb
