Hi everyone. My name is Cassie. I will be 26 in sept. I've been suffering with psoriasis since I was about 5. Since I've had two children and put on some weight it has gotten worse. I use to only suffer on my scalp. Its moved everywhere and I mean everywhere which just sucks. I no longer feeling beautiful. The itching and the pain make it really hard to save energy for my children. So most days I push myself too far trying to not let them know mommy is tired and not feeling well so I end up suffering more. But I'm a warrior and I'm not going to let this disease run me down. I hope I can meet more people like me that I can relate to. Cant wait to start talking to new people.

Hello Cassie to Psoriasis Club.

Trying to keep the positive attitude can be hard, but it certainly does help. Don't get to wound up about beauty, beauty is only skin deep and we have lots of that.

You will find us a small but friendly bunch so just dive in, and if the worst comes to the worst, check out the Off Topic boards. I'm sure you will find something there to cheer you up, I'm the sensible one in there by the way.

Welcome to our board.
I like the way you are talking about being a warrior. As I am also one that will never give up. And... probably there are coming new (based on old) solutions. You only have to find them.

As Fred says, for a nice chat, not on psoriasis, visit the Off Topic section. It is wonderful over there. The variation on topics is very nice. I am the fastest one over there, you can find me if you see feathers flying around.
We indeed are a friendly bunch. Mostly someone will react to your question, remark or story.
