I have read some internet LINK REMOVED - terrible side effects
But - will continue reading success stories only for now on...
did u try this medication?
I just hope my condition will go away as a miracle - never seen anything like this before, it covered all of me just within three weeks, I still can not believe I have this forever....and all available medications are so hard to deal withÂ
EDIT By Fred: Link Removed.
Please don't be disheartened by what you read on the internet. many people including myself have taken Acitretin. Yes there are side effects and I will not lie to anyone that asks, I have suffered from several of these, peeling hands and feet, dry lips and an over production of ear wax. But in the scheme of things, non of these are as bad as having this interminable disease. The only way you will find out if you are effected is if you take it. Just remember that this medication is not a quick fix. I have heard of people being substantially cleared in 6 weeks or so. Myself I can only just claim to be at a place I would be happy to stay, not completely clear but neither am I itching for England or shedding flakes for fun. Chances are the creams they gave you will no doubt be steroid derivatives and really shouldn't be used over such a substantial coverage. There is a surface area limit per application. UV trement can be effective but may not give long term results. In all only an oral or a Bio is going to be of any real use to you. Acitretin isn't a bad place to start - there are worse.
