Hi, nice to meet you! Sorry psoriasis has come as a shock, it can be hard to accept but you do get used to the idea in the end.
I hope you can overcome your fears of people seeing it, mine is all over my arms and legs and I just wear what I want, I have given up caring what people think. I don't think they are really looking as much as we feel they are. If you get the chance and feel brave enough you should try exposing it to a bit of sun as it might help to clear your skin up.
It's great that your boss is being kind, hopefully you can get things under control soon.

For now - no chance for me to go to the beach, it looks so bad on my legs, hands and arms and torso and continue to spread :((( I planned X-Mas vacations for us, but i can't even think normally now, just frustrated  and depressed looking at myself.
And my favorite beta blocker that made my mornings acceptable more or less - are in the list that not good to take with PS, so I can't stop to vibrate and not able to drive being on very high level of anxiety ( I have it for years and beta blocker helped me to go thru the morning and bring myself to work in one piece) and PS just added more anxiety :((

Interesting you have a list of drugs to avoid with psoriasis - I don't know if we have that here in uk
I guess you run it as an experiment, if coming off them doesn't seem to change your skin then maybe you will end up taking them again.
My ps is quite extensive right now, it's on my back, my front, my arms and my legs, and starting up my chest and neck which I don't like. But I'm not so bothered about how it looks, it's more the itching, flaking and soreness that bothers me.. I'm not sure what helps, I think warmer weather but direct sun and uvb are no good. Less stress would probably help too - unfortunately that's not possible with all that's going on in my life right now lol!

Yes, TL, there are things to avoid when you have psoriasis. There is also a list of food to avoid, did you know that ?
An example below in Dutch, I can translate for you if you want to, but no time right now, this is a quicky.
