I too suffered ppp on hands and feet for a few months a couple of years ago which was triggered by a reaction of another treatment. Cyclosporine helped to clear up the pustules for me, might be worth asking your dermatologist for this? You should also ask for some steroid cream and bandages from them and use coconut oil as others suggested.
If you get the steroid cream, be very wary with it as it shouldn't be used on a long term basis and also very sparingly! I completely sympathise with you though. The itchiness and pain walking on it is something I wouldnt wish on my worst enemy!
Hi Amanda, thanks. Do you think it's possible it could be a short term thing for me too? I have the steroid cream and some bandages that I got from the dermatologist, did you used to wrap your whole foot in a bandage and if so was it a particular type?
Yes I was told to just use it for two weeks and see how it goes, I'm not very optimistic about it at the moment to be honest. Thanks again for the advice
Its hard to know unfortunately if it's short or long term (not very helpful I'm afraid) I just wrapped the bits affected. Where abouts on your foot is the pustules?
