Research of Nieboer, shows that unfortunately only 16 % of the combi preparate users of DMF can keep up with it in the very long run. Mostly due to the intestine effects. I will search for this research.
This is one of the major reasons that slow release was developed, because of the slow release this is much softer for the intestines. Would you believe that there are still doctors who do not believe this?
This means that our Jim is quite one of the lucky guys and also this means that Bill is also very tough.
I Feel lucky ... I thought Fumaderm was being successfully used in Germany for 30 years without any major problems
It is, but it appears that statistics show that by long not everyone may be able to cope with the intestine problems.
That probably also explains why lots of doctors don't want to describe it, and why the reluctant to prescribe the slow release version, as they and even the best derms say so, think that it gives lots of trouble, but with the slow release there are much much less problems as the intestines think you are on a low dose
This information opens my eyes for the sensibility that was in developing it.
