My psoriasis score has come down dramatically, just need to work on getting my skin moisturised. My whole body feels like parchment paper.
I'm still pretty weak but have a plan to build that up steadily over time with some gentle pilates.
And I'm getting lots of nourishing soups and smoothies ( all freshly made ).
The MTX is still making me feel pretty nauseous the day after I take it but , given what I have been through, I think this is a minor trade off.
However, I am going to continue looking into the alternatives and getting much more vocal about problems than I have been. I don't consider this to be a long term solution.
The hardest battle I have at the moment is with my head. It's constantly drawing up lists of things for me to do/things to catch up on etc. My 'rational side' ( yes, I do have one Fred ) is urging me to take it s l o w l y! I just need to keep listening.
Anyway.....am off to sit outside for 10 minutes in the sunshine ( YES......we have sunshine here oop North ) so will be back later to have another nosey round.
Good to hear Brighteyes that you are back in your own bed what a relief that must be...
Psoriasis score dropping nicely as well but it is early and it will take a time to feel " normal" again, but you sound as if you are on the road to recovery
Shame about the from methotrexate. I had those same feelings when I was on it. And got to the stage of having to force them past my lips. But if it's doing a job on you and its better than the disease.
I think you are right there are better treatments they could put you on that are less toxic than methotrexate, but stick with it for the time being as it's working and when you are clear would be the time to ask for a change... What you don't want is to have it get so bad again
Yes It was great outside today the sun shone here from dawn to dusk it's been very springlike ooot East
Glad you seem to have turned the corner
