Tablets isn't always better, there are more possible side effects with the tablets and some people have a phobia about taking them. So as for what it being easier that depends on the patient.
If your doctor won't/can't give you Fumaderm, then I don't think there is one for psoriasis that is milder. Methotrexate, Acitretin, and Ciclosporin have a lot more side effects than Fumaderm, that's doesn't mean they are not suitable for you though as every patient is different.
Like I said in your other thread RE: creams, and ointments Silkis could be worth a go.
I'm not sure if you can get it in the UK or Spain but Dexeryl could also be worth a go as you have it mild.
