When i contacted bluestar for a friend of mine who began having psoriasis after she got pregnant, they said that it should not effect a person in pregnancy. That it would only effect the child if the ointment were used on the breast prior to breast feeding. That if the breast were a problem area, it was advised to use it after the child was past that stage.
I completely understand the mothers want of not taking chances. I hope that you might be able to try it once your pregnancy is over. It was a really unexpected amazing relief. I am just g;ad that I did find it and am not able to feel more confident and to lose the weight I gained from not being able to be active, because it was just so painful.
I do hope you find some relief Hanna while you are pregnant. Please let me know if it helps one you have had the baby. Perhaps it may help your sister.
