Yes Psoriasis can make you feel tired. some days I feel fine and others I feel absolutely shattered, I have found I feel more tired if I have a flare up or the psoriatic arthritis is playing up.
Psoriasis is not a skin problem, it's an autoimmune and inflammation problem and those two things can have an affect on ones stamina. as for what to do to help it, it's difficult. That's a bit like trying to find the cure for psoriasis, but you could try exercise and a good diet to help fight against fatigue. Although personally I can't do that, as I like eating and being lazy.
Are you still using Humira? as that can make you feel tired for a while after a shot.
Hello,
I stopped taking the Humira a few years ago as the doctor said my body was essentially attacking it. It was amazing when it worked, I was able to run up stairs and felt like a totally different person. I had to stop taking it due to a kidney stone and then when I restarted it it worked for a short time and then stopped. I think since then I have kind of given up on treatment, it kind of killed my hopes.
I take one Aleve occasionally when my arthritis is bad, out of all of the NSAIDs I tried its the only one that works. Previously a doctor had me taking 3 Aleve 3 times a day (total of 9) until I realized 1 did the same thing as 9, adding more did not increase relief.
I have aspergers and stress is a common thing in my life though I have been working on controlling it.
