Hello Looby;
Great news to hear you have embarked on medication for your Psoriasis with Fumaderm. If you follow the recommended prescription starting with Initial dosage for three weeks followed by step-up program with 120 mg. Fumaderm, maintain the peak dosage for as long as you need to achieve positive results and then gradually decrease to see where you need to be to stay clear, you should experience good tolerable results. The program allows your system to build up a tolerance or minimize side effects from Fumaderm such as gastrointestinal discomfort.
After suffering chronic Psoriasis for approx. 30 years, trying every possible control aside from biologics, Fumaderm has been a miracle drug for me. I am totally clear, on a 1x120 mg daily maintenance dosage for the last +3 years. I am afraid to back off further in fear that my Psoriasis may come back so I am quite content to maintain the maintenance dosage with no side effects whatsoever. Meanwhile, I am monitored by a Doctor for blood platelet level.
So my recommendation to you is stay with it, you may experience some discomfort from time to time, "Tums" do help, but from my experience, you will be pleased with the results in the end.
