Hi and welcome to the forum nice to have a Norfolk girl on board 
to keep a Norfolk boy company.
Fumaderm you should have started with Fumaderm initial for 4 weeks I seem to remember.
What I do is take them with my meals then flush them down with plenty of fluid should be water but often with me it's something a bit stronger
Side effects you will probably get some stomach cramps ( I found the more I drank the less cramps I got.
You will get hot flushes. I still get the occasional one about once a week starting at the head and working down my body
If you can bear the side effects at first,...... they ease up the longer you are on it.
After your Fumaderm initial run out you will be put on full strength tablets
The effects on my psoriasis are nothing less than spectacular. I only have a couple of marks on my skin now.
