Sorry to hear about your experience, I imagine it was a shock, having that extent of psoriasis all of a sudden.
It’s true they want you to try creams, then uvb, then tablets etc, however the dermatologist might take a more fast track approach if you have such a high coverage of psoriasis.
The only advice I’d give is push for attention, and let them know how badly it’s impacting your life.
I have found in the past if it’s very bad that giving your skin a break from water can help, so cutting down on showers may be an unpleasant thought but it might be worth a go to see if it helps.
