I had to stop taking acitretin/Neotigason because of the severe side effects. It's taken my skin a few weeks to settle back down to something 'normal', apart from the PPP, that is! Looks like methotrexate is the next on the list. Gosh I hope it works. I've been dreading it. I start at the end of the month. Chest x-ray came back fine (which is good news anyway) and I presume bloods are okay too.
Wooleyb, I hope the PUVA helped somewhat. No-one wants to get onto the drugs, but it seems inevitable for many of us to get some relief. Waiting for a miracle...

It looks like i am going to go onto acitretin by the looks of it.....PUVA is working a treat on my hands but my feet, although they seem a lot better this week, are still so sore and just feels like i am walking on broken glass.....

What dose acitretin were you on?  Really worried about going on it to be honest, but I really hope methotrexate works for you big time!!  You will have to keep us posted on how you get on with it, fingers crossed eh.....oh and same here waiting for that miracle too.......good luck though......
