Quick Introduction from Australia- G'Day

Hello everyone,

My name is Kate and I have just stumbled across this club and I am delighted that it exists.

Its coming into summer in Australia which usually leaves me feeling anxious and irritable as the options for what I can wear quickly reduces. I try hard to not let it bother me but I'm a work in progress.

I have had psoriasis for 20 years so have tried every possible treatment with different variations of success but I'm hoping that I can share my knowledge and coping strategies with other people who live with this condition.

I look forward to connecting with you all soon.

Hello Kate to Psoriasis Club

Lucky you coming into Summer we are now in Autumn, though it's still nice at the moment 35c I know it means those cold dark nights are just around the corner.

As for knowing what to wear I did start a thread that may help and please feel free to add your own tips, you can find it here: Skin Camouflage

Or you could try our resident Stylist with Psoriasis Lady B, she has a few tips that may be of help. I can't find all her relevant posts at the moment but have a look at these two.

Nice to meet you from the other side of the globe.
And a warm Welcome to psoriasis club, i hope you will enjoy yourself.
A warning in advance, a large part of the forum is very seriously dedicated to psoriasis subjects. But there is also an Off-Topic part of the forum and you might find that scary. It is populated with weird creatures, even creatures that suggest they are sensible, but don't let yourself be tricked by that.

Summer at your side is starting. That sounds good for you and less for us as it means that over here winter is due.
On the one side I understand your hesitation towards the summer, but on the other side being in the sun should have a very positive effect on you psoriasis. So do take your time and enjoy the sun.
