"Do I go on systemics?". That is the big question for anyone not controlling things with topicals. Had I known the difference systemics could make for me I'd have gone on them twenty years ago. I have eliminated almost all of the disease with systemics. For me, dietary triggers are a sign of an out of control disease, and dietary measures have failed as a treatment. But that is me, and you have to make your own choices. If you have worries about the risks then stay as you are. Systemics are not to be taken lightly, so you need to commit to a decision. So learn as much as you can about the disease, its management, and the experience of others with it.
