I have Medicare which they take out $105 a month from everyone that is 65 and retired I have a supplement I pay $36.50 a month and have Champ Va that pays 20% Medicare pays 80% but not medication.
Since you're doing so well on Embrel, I wouldn't change either.
Our insurance here is quite difficult to understand for others I'd imagine (it's hard enough to understand when you're used to it!) It will be interesting to see how much you'll have to pay now that you've met the deductibles. Medicare part B deductible is $166.00 so is the $3000 deductible another insurance? Asking because I'm curious as to how much Medicare will cover on the Embrel or if another insurance is involved.
Editing this to add the following.
Medicare prescription coverage is under part D? The deductible for it is higher, around $300? After I posted it occurred to me that prescriptions aren't under Medicare part B. Thanks in advance for clearing any of this up for me Glenda... Medicare is still a big confusing to me.
