Question: what is the definition of remission in terms of Psa?

You are doing excellent Fred.
As long as you can keep the Psoriatic Arthritis in remission that is the most important.
As long as the possible reaction to cosentyx is limited I think you should continue the current schedule.

My toy poodles are my most effective stress relief for me, but they can cause me annoyance walking in the bush in the early morning if I come across someone who they don't consider to be of good character. I hope 2020 is better for you and Mrs Fred.

Cheers

Thank you Bill. Yes my main reason for taking it is for psoriatic arthritis, as you know I had it bad and to be free is amazing.

I agree dogs are a great stress relief, but I just can't go through losing one again.  Sad

I hope you get as much relief as I have, but we have to remember we are all different.

As for definition of remission with psoriatic arthritis I'm not sure. I'm only going by what my dermatologist has been putting on my notes for the past year or so. I still have psoriatic arthritis and can feel a little bit in the morning or when damp, but it soon passes and that is the reason I score myself as 1.

Yes that is my thinking too. She said she would contact after the results of the biopsy if I needed to stop, and I haven't heard anything so I'm keeping with the regime. Next appointment in February and we will discuss options then, but for now if I can keep on top of the odd little flare and these little annoying itchy bumps that pop up occasionally I'll be happy.

Smile

I still don't class Cosentyx as good as Stelara for psoriasis, but it's knocks Stelara off the scale when it comes to psoriatic arthritis. I would like to be clear of both but as my quality of life has vastly improved with movement and zero pain then it's the ine I would like to stay on.

Glad you are still doing well on the Cosentyz Fred, my dermatologist keeps mentioning it but the Stelara is working well on the P and it does work to a reasonable level on the PsA.

If the psoriatic arthritis is ok then I would stay where you are, I only moved because I was getting locked up and a lot of pain, it had got to the stage of ruining my life again.

I didn't think that the Stelara was working on the PsA until they cocked up with the delivery when they dropped it to 10 week and then took 6 week to sort out by which time I was in pain from the PsA and the Stelara kicked in again . I am good again and it's keeping the P and PsA to a very low level at 10 week between shots.

Great that you haven't had a flare despite the stress levels lately
Strange about the pimples let's hope it's not a reaction to Cosentyx it could be the psoriasis trying to break through but the Cosentyx holds it back

Long may the arthritis and psoriasis be held in check for you Thumb

Thank you Jim, yes I was very surprised. I expected a huge flare bu it didn't happen, still not sure about the pimple thing maybe that is a type of flare but one I've not had before.
