Now this is getting interesting Bill.
So picture the scene . . . . . I'm sat in the surgery with my Dermy and the conversation goes; Well I have been following this bloke in Aus. He is self medicating with DMF, but only because he cant get Fumaderm or Skilarence there and now he is getting some really good results injecting vitamins. Can i have a go? Sorry if that last bit sounds flippant but how would I convince my medical professional that this might just be a good path to follow? Seriously it looks like you might just be on to something here. Is there any monitoring for this? Bloods?

I think it is pretty safe, John, as they are water soluble vitamins. If the stuff does work, it will still be at least another three weeks before I see a result. Also, would the vitamin injections work if I did not take DMF? I don't think injections practical for large areas, so I will order some DMSO in the next few weeks. Then I will be able to test the vitamins as a topical application the psoriasis on my neck and behind my ears.
Cheers

Not only this bloke is not able to get the registered medications, but als his treatment with the same stuff costs less than a fraction of the registered ones. There will hardly be medical professionals that will get this discrepancy.

Another update. The plaque continues to improve. I have ordered DSMO, so I will start a topical test shortly. I have paused my DMF dosing as I have felt a little fatigued the past few days, a possible indication of a drop in lymphocytes, although I am otherwise well.
Cheers

It is looking very good Bill. An amazing approach.
Personally I hardly ever feel fatigue, even not while I am currently in my second round of having a cold, it was gone for two weeks and it came back again.

certainly seems to be coming along well, Bill I hope all is well up your end of the world and the fires have not impacted you.

Hi Caroline,
It is easy enough for my knee, but it would be a bit tricky to inject other spots, so I am keen to test a topical application. I am glad I get a warning. The time I ignored it I ended up with a rotten cold for the best part of two weeks. Hi Craig, I was lucky to get 100mm of rain last week, so my tank was filled and I have been liberally watering the garden. Just the scrub turkeys to battle: I am getting more accurate with my sling shot. One of my nieces near Gosford had to evacuate for a bit, but my family has been safe. It is a horrible event. I follow the Enso and MJO reports. Both are updated on Christmas Eve, so I look forward to seeing the the monsoon trough move south and hope for some good rain in January. Cheers

Interesting you have a monsoon coming on in January. I didn’t know that Australia had that. It should Cool down the country al little. Over here we have a really different kind of weather type, we never have a monsoon. But often rainshowers in this time of year. Very “wet” weather during the last months. Two years ago we had an extreme dry summer and only now, two years later, the level of groundwater is getting back to its normal state.

I will try something a little different now. I bought some DMSO to mix with the vitamins and test as a topical. I am using a one in seven dilution and applying twice daily. Images of my neck and elbow will let me check my progress. I don't think it will work, but it is easy enough to do.
