It is good to read of your ongoing success, Fred. A few senescent patches kept in check with an occasional dab of Diprosone doesn't sound like a big deal. Keep up the good work. Thumb

Thank you all very much for the comments. Smile

@John see Kat's reply RE: Cosentyx for psoriatic arthritis Fred's journey she summed it pretty well.

@Jim & @Bill The odd patch I do have is not really a problem and doesn't rely bother me. So yes using the odd bit of Diprosone if it does flare up soon gets it back in check.

For me the priority is the psoriatic arthritis as that is the life changer for me, and being free of it fells damn good. Smile

Now forgive my ignorance but I always thought arthritis was damage to the joint faces and it was this that caused all the agro. So does Cosentyx go someway the resurfacing?

My rheumatologist just tried explaining this a bit for me.

With psoriatic arthritis the damage is done by persistent inflammation.   So the sooner treatment [less inflammation], the less damage.

The damage from wear and tear is osteoarthritis.

Both cause joint pain, stiffness and swelling.

I think I got all that right anyway but if not, I'm sure someone will correct me.  Smile

Ahh that makes sense now. Thanks Thumb

Just putting this here for future reference. I don't think it is anything to do with Cosentyx but as my shot was only a few days ago I thought I would make a note.

I've had a bad dose of vomiting, diarrhoea, and dizziness this past few days. I'm sure it's just my ear crystals need sorting again or some sort of virus, but always best to keep a note.

Hoping that it's nothing Fred, seems to be a lot of bugs doing the rounds at the moment.

Sorry to hear you have been feeling crook Fred. Your absence has been noticed  Whistle .

The vomiting and dizziness I could see linking to your crystals but I don't see the diarroeah bit. My guess it's more likely a virus or one of those dodgy French cheeses  Whistle .

I'm hoping it's not the Cosentyx I'm sure you will benefit from it for quite a while yet.

Hopefully it's just a bug that will go away soon!

Feel better! Bigarm
