Here's hoping you get many more years of relief with it

Thank you Jim. Yes getting my life back with movement was my priority, and it's certainly done that. Smile

Thank you Bill. I could probably score a zero, and at my last dermatology appointment she wrote that it was in remission. That felt sooooooo good. Smile

Had my dermatology appointment today.

All has gone well, and we are sticking to the recommended regime once every 4 weeks and have an appointment for September.

She put in her notes again that the psoriatic arthritis was still in remission, and the psoriasis was slight and could be managed with occasional use of Diprosone.

Psoriasis Score: 4 but it's only flat and no flakes.

Psoriatic arthritis Score: 1 I leave it at one even though she said it was in remission as I do sometimes wake up with my shoulders a bit stiff, but it wears off very quickly once I get moving.

All in all I'm very happy.  Smile

Brilliant news Fred looks like a successful visit today , always great when a drug is working well and it seems as if cosentyx is going well for you .
With the summer rapidly approaching hopefully it will get rid of the few stubborn psoriasis plaques you have left

Excellent news Fred. So glad that Cosentyx is still weaving it's magic. Long may it continue.  Thumb
Now forgive my ignorance but I always thought arthritis was damage to the joint faces and it was this that caused all the agro. So does Cosentyx go someway the resurfacing?

My rheumatologist just tried explaining this a bit for me.

With psoriatic arthritis the damage is done by persistent inflammation. So the sooner treatment [less inflammation], the less damage.

The damage from wear and tear is osteoarthritis.

Both cause joint pain, stiffness and swelling.

I think I got all that right anyway but if not, I'm sure someone will correct me. Smile
