RHi - my name is Margot. I've had Psoriasis since I was six (I'm now 49) and have never really looked for other people to talk to about it before despite the massive effect it has had on my life. I have been through ups and downs with it and I am lucky that although at times it has been bad, there are people around who have had it much worse than me. I think this is a fantastic idea as peer support and being able to connect with people who really get what you are talking about is so important. I don't know why I haven't looked into something like this before. I'm off to a holiday in the sunshine tomorrow, which really helps, but am looking forward to being part of the forum and hearing from others who 'get it'. Thanks

Hi Margot and a big   to the club it is as you say a great place to come and meet others with the disease who know the problems and frustrations that only a sufferer can understand .....it is a life changing disease and is often looked on by doctors as not serious and just a rash ....we all know it's far more than that and are all happy to exchange experiences  

This site is unique in that it is run by sufferers for sufferers and Fred who runs the show insists its free to use for all us members, there is no outside influence from pharmaceutical companies or any advertising ....so what you read is all genuine experiences .....or factual reporting of treatments

The site also has an off topic section where you can go if you want to get away from psoriasis or just want a chat there are many topics there including a chatting thread [Group Specific]
There are photo threads where we post photos of just about anything and a jokes section where you are advised not to go  

I hope you have a great holiday and the sunshine helps your psoriasis, I look forward to hearing more about you and how you cope with psoriasis.

Thank you for joining it's a great place to learn and make friends ...I learnt more about psoriasis and the various treatments in my first week here than I had in the rest of my long life

Thank you for the kind words about Psoriasis Club. You will find a good mix of people all trying different things, we share information and support and you will find us a friendly bunch.

Like Jim said we are free from any advertising, sponsorship and donations. Spammers, scammers, troll and bullies are shown the door very quickly, and should you ever spot any please do let us know.

Hi Margot welcome to the club , we are a happy bunch with most being a bit barmy but quite safe ,you will find on here, the most comprehensive information on P/PsA than anywhere I have come across all backed by a group of people ( wide description) who will answer your questions from the point of view of experience of the problem not from theory .
