It was 10 years ago since I experienced the stomach ache from Fumaderm, but if my memory serves me well then it was Low down and DEEP.  In the next few weeks I may be able to confirm precisely (but I hope not!)
Thanks for the Yogurt tip - I'll keep that ammunition in my back pocket and I will also look up the prof from down under too.  Patents and Intellectual Property....   literally leading to an unnecessary a pain in the rear end!   I can certainly believe it.

I'll have a look in the off topic area and see if I can find the bar. (Whoops - A whole new topic here?  Alcohol vs Psoriasis?) I'll certainly get a virtual round in if so required.

What is it the Americans say:? "What goes around, comes around"
or something very similar.
In my experience - very true.

Once again, many thanks for your response and advice, I hope your own condition is both manageable and under control?

Cheers
Op uw gezondheid!

Hi Kit nice to see you on here, it's great site and all the inmates are really friendly , Fred has done a fantastic job .
I myself are on Stelara and the stuff you are on is one of the few treatments I have never taken though I think that in the last 4 odd decades I have had P /PsA I must have had most of them.
I am the really sensible one on here who is very serious about everything .

Take my advice; I don't use it anyway.

Welcome Kit!

You'll find quite useful information from our Fumaderm/DMF users on ways to help with the stomach upset. Hopefully it won't be as bad for you this time around. Make yourself at home here, it's a very nice place to be. Smile

Hi!
You are right, Fred has done a fantastic job with this forum. I've learned more about P. in the past 24 hours than in the past 30 years!

The inmates I've met so far have been relatively sane but I think I've yet to meet a blatantly serious or sensible member. Let alone someone who claims that distinction! So, forgive me, but I'll reserve judgement on you being the sensible and serious member until I know you a bit better  Confused

I'd not heard of Stelara until I joined this forum (yesterday!)  I probably know more about it now than my GP!

Look forward to exchanging info with you

Cheers

Kit

Hi Kat

Yes - You are right. It IS a nice place to be. The folk I've met so far have been both welcoming and accommodating. I'm spending most of my free time at the moment checking this goldmine of information.   I'm sure I've learned more about my condition on this Forum in one day than I have since I was diagnosed back in the 80's.  Looking forward to hooking up with you.  Although of course we must discourage anyone trying to link our names!

Cheers

I do have to agree with you, when I joined I was amazed at what information was on here, and as with you I learnt more in my first week here than I had known since I was diagnosed as a teenager. And it's a constant learning curve there's always something new to learn from other members

Caroline....      I hope you were not taken in by my little "deception" as the only Dutch I speak is of course Double Dutch - just like most Englishmen.  I've Google Translate to thank for my quote last night......    Same as this (I hope it translates OK?!)

Caroline .... Ik hoop dat je niet in genomen door mijn kleine " misleiding " als de enige Nederlandse die ik spreek is natuurlijk Double Nederlands - net als de meeste Engelsen . Ik heb Google Translate te danken aan mijn offerte gisteravond

I'd be interested to learn how accurate the translation is? I suspect there's a few errors but if it is basically understandable that'll do me!   I only wish there was and English <> American option with Google translate! Americans catch me out all the time

I'm very glad to hear that your PSA is being managed acceptably.  I'm looking forward to saying that about my P.  - Hopefully very soon

Cheers

Kit
