Hello everyone , I'm Danny from Leeds in England, I've had p for 16 years and started on acitretin 7 weeks ago.. So far it's flared big time but my skins got smoother.. Is the drug working ? Would be glad of any feedback

Good mornin Danny  and    to the forum, I'm glad you have found us, we have several members in Acetretin, and I'm sure you will get answers here , I have no experience of acetretin but understand it can take a while depending on the dose, the fact the skin is smoother sounds as if the Acetretin is starting to do its job.

There are many threads on acetretin here and if you type Acetretin in the search bar which can be found under the psoriasis club banner at the top of the page, you will get a list of threads that mention Acetretin

Hello Jimmi and Fred , thanks for the warm welcome?I'll keep in touch on my progress with the drug,, I've got a hospital appointment on 9th Feb so we'll see what happens then.. Once again thanks for the welcome and support

Anyone tried turmeric powder ? And if so has it worked and if yes how long did it take ,,,

Never tried turmeric except occasionally in cooking So can't help there

There is a thread Turmeric but it's not been updated.

I use it in cooking but to be honest I've never noticed any benefit.

I'm on 20mg a day but I don't think it's a strong enough dose!!

Wecome Danny to the forum. I don't know much about your treatment as I am on Stelara however the big plus is that someone on here will know about it and it's coming from people who have the problem and know what it's like not some medical staff who thinks that know what it's like.
Have a good look around and ask away, we are all quite sensible or I at least I am but some of the inmates are a little suspect .
