One thing strikes me.
We, the DMF users, seem to be having the least problems .

That is remarkable. I wished that others would be intrigued by that.

Caroline

Quite right Caroline it certainly gives good relief with few side effects when you are used to it
(I intend to enquire about DMF as apposed to Fumaderm as you say it doesn't damage the stomach) I feel I don't have much to say on here about my condition as it doesn't change from I season to another Thumb

Not the new ones you got not long ago? And did you ask your dermatologist to send you to physiotherapy for some insoles as I suggested?

Yep Fred, those new ones that I bought in May I think. Mind you, I did wear them to death. I've always been the same. I hate shoe shopping, always have.

I need to sort out another appointment with my dermatologist (re: recurring problems and insoles) and do some research on DMF. Its so frustrating that every part of my body is perfectly clear now EXCEPT the crucial bit. :(

You could try contacting the maker, shoes should last longer than that no matter how much you use them.

For your research I would try Caroline first or the following.
Caroline's thread: Dimethylfumarates and Psoriasis
Isabelle's thread: Fumaderm

Or a search on the forum for Fumaderm will throw you out some others who have used it.

Jim is also on Fumaderm and he is in the UK so he may have some pointers.

Hells Bells!
Has it really been 14 months since my last post?  Blush
This is terrible.

Just to say....sorry.
I managed to get so stabilised that I went and got myself a p/t job. Then the OH lost his and I went f/t.  Big Grin
7 months later the ( new ) Consultant decides he doesn't like the look of my bloods or the fact that I have been on Cyclosporin for four years and KABOOM..... I'm off them and back to square one.
Can't work, in pain, don't know where the next rent payment is coming from and currently absorbing a test dose of MTX.

Feels like I have back pedalled somewhat. That is, if I could pedal, which I can't at the moment.

Yep it's that long, but it's no surprise from you.  Tongue

So you come and give good news with bad, what a shame when I started reading this I thought at last you may be getting sorted but there you are back to square one.

If he was concerned about you bloods I'm surprised he put you on Methotrexate, I thought they would give similar problems also I think you should have a break from Cyclocporin before going onto Methotreaxte.

But I'm no doctor, anyway it's good to see you back I've missed Ya  Bigarm

Indeed where does the time go..... Well I can see where your time has gone a very hectic 14 months  and it's not terrible we all have busy lives and yours looks extermely busy.. It's good to see you back again ... I hope the methotrexate does the trick for you, although not my favourite drug, it does seem to have a good effect on many people
Let's hope you can get back into better health and able to work again, the worry of all these things tends to increase your stress and we all know that's not good... The positive is that you should soon see some inprovement with the methotrexate ...if that fails or you can't tolerate it there are a few new drugs available on the nhs including Cosentyx which seems to be giving some people good results
Good luck and welcome back
Jim

Thank you people. Heart

Yes it has been a crazy year. I never dreamt I would get back to working full time. It was tiring and required some stress management but I did enjoy it. Can't see me getting back there any time soon though. :(

I also found my daughters......living 30 miles away. Their Dad has finally relented and given me his address and I now have updated pictures. The Girls and I are slowly re-building bridges. Bigarm

Ooh....and I just ordered some funky, shocking green crutches. I don't intend to sit around too much and get depressed this time ( I hope ). At least I know what's coming ( although I will most likely need to release a rant and a few expletives ). XXX

Great news you've found your daughters again and are building bridges it's a big thing for you I hope it continues to work out with them  Thumb
By all means use your funky green Crutches to get out more but just keep coming here fo a rant ... I could do with learning a few expletives  Whistle  as a Norfolk boy I  had a sheltered upbringing
Let's hope it doesn't get to bad for you this time , and the medication kicks in fast and we can  have you up dancing 87
