Hi Jessica,
I get the idea now that you are mentioning MTX, can compare that with my own experience. Did you already try to call Janssen again? And request for an expert? I don’t think such heavy side effects in the form of fatigue are normal. It may be that your immune system responses in this strange way to the drug. I for myself would at least verify this with Janssen and with your derm, and perhaps wait with dose #2 after the dose #1 has lost its effects and your energy will be coming back. Certainly we have a lot of compassion with you , we all know what it is to have Psoriasis or/and Psoriatic Arthritis.

Jessica I would recommend starting a new thread in Prescribed Treatments For Psoriasis as this is your intro thread your questions may not get answered by other Tremfya users.

It's Jessica again. Just took second Tremfya injection. Have not felt better physically or otherwise. I'm trying to keep occupied while self-isolating in the age of Covid-19
I am am member of "Removed" which you can access online. They help cull information about Psoriasis and Spa ( as well as RA). Of note, they had posted information from the "Removed". They basically set forth that we patience should continue to use our medications - pills, injections and infusions as prescribed. If you have questions, speak to your Rheum or prescribing doctor. If you have upper respiratory complications after taking the medication, certainly contact your doctor I think the "Removed" group is helpful. Moreover, I am happy for the information from "Removed" that continuing my Spa medication is appropriate. I hope all are coping well physically and emotionally during this chaotic time. Be well. - Jesdica Edit by Fred: Reference to websites removed.

I'm on week three of Tremfya and it's staring to kick in, I hope you soon notice a change.
I'm sorry Jessica but I have had to make an edit to your post as we don't allow the promotion of other websites on Psoriasis Club. It's nothing against, you personally, the rule is in place to keep us independent. But yes the advice is to keep taking your treatment. I am keeping this thread updated with current information: Covid-19 (aka Coronavirus) and psoriasis *This thread is closed. All introductions are closed after 90 days to save confusion. You are welcome to start new threads in any other sections of your choice. |
