Probably not going to get many if any answers, but has anyone tried both Taltz and Cosentyx ?

We have a lot of threads on both, but I'm interested in those that have tried both. Also preferable those that have psoriatic arthritis.

I'm thinking of going for the switch from Cosentyx to Taltz so on the off chance I thought why not ask here first.

Anyone used both ?

Sorry, somehow I missed this post.

I tried both. If you're going to ask how I felt it worked for psoriatic arthritis, that will be difficult to answer. I did notice less stiffness with Cosentyx, however, other than that neither seemed to work well for me.

I will add that I definitely preferred the Cosentyx injection over the Taltz as I found the Taltz to be more uncomfortable injecting (but if you go with the syringe instead of the pen it supposedly isn't that bad)

Thank you Kat, I only ever use the syringe so no problem there.

I'm thinking Taltz may not be any better then Coesntyx as they both go after IL17, but it's good to know someone who has tried both as it confirms my thoughts.

That depends Fred... it is not clear, to me at least, what is the reason that the body starts to make antibodies to the medication. Is it making antibodies to the enzymes that deliver the real IL-17 blocker to the cells or is it somehow blocking the IL-17 blocker?
And ... are there different IL-17 blockers possible and available in Cosentyx and Taltz ?

It was my suggestion to ask that to the dermatologist. But I understand that it may not be in front of your mind while talking to the derm.

Great to know you are moving on although a shame the Cosentyx didn't give you a few more years

However let's hope tremfya will be the one to clear your skin and arthritis and your heat type bumps will clear by themselves as the Cosentyx clears out of your system

Good luck  Thumb

When do you get the tremfya?
Did you get a prediction of when it will start working?
