Fourth 300 mg dose today.  

I still don't see a difference with the arthritis but was told it could take up to six months and I the time of year/weather is playing against me so it could take longer!

That being said, I didn't get sick as a dog on my third dose so that's good!

Yes it can take a while to do it's thing on psoriatic arthritis, but it will.

It does take a little to kick in KatT, from memory it acted on my plaques really quite quickly but took somewhere around 3-6 months for it to have an impact on the PA. having said that, I found it a little hard to quantify the effects because of joint pain associated with injury rather than with psoriatic arthritis

It's now the fourth dose at 300...no improvement yet but I am hopeful....will give it another 4 months to work....if not, next treatment.

What I don't know is how much of an improvement I'm supposed to see.  No inflammation and pain except on the odd occasion or since I have pain and inflammation daily, a break two to three times a week?

Personally I find that a couple of days after my 300mg does the pain is mostly gone, I'm not as stiff in the joints and I tend not to wake up overnight as much with shoulder or back pain. This improvement plateaus about week two/three after the dose and then by about a week before my next dose is due the improvement has mostly gone again.  The primary reason I went to Cosentyx was for plaques rather than psoriatic arthritis and for that is has been really brilliant.

My plaque has cleared with every treatment I tried....they all worked great!

But I am at the point where I would gladly take back the plaques but please make the arthritis go away
