The psoriatic arthritis had gone back down from 2 to 1 and the thumbnail did not lift away from the bed in the end.

The psoriasis is still much the same at 5 but as expected I'm feeling a flare starting at the moment due to the website problems.

Still not sure which way to go next week. I can't make my mind up to either stay on Cosentyx another 6 months or move to Tatlz.

Will have to do some thinking soon.  91

Sorry that it's not working as well Fred , if you stay on  cosentyx what sort of deterioration have you had over the last month or so , do you think that it's accelerated . If it's not gone downhill quickly I would be inclined to stick with the  cosentyx as it's a known quantity and Tatlz is going to be an unknown one , it may or may not work as well. With the problems you have had it may settle down a bit but if you come off at this point the sudden withdrawal may increase the situation as it will take the Tatlz time to work.

I’m inclined to agree with Dave that unless the Psoriasis is getting you down and the arthritis is really good, I think in view of the problems you / the club has encountered I would give it a longer chance to improve now that hopefully the recent stress you have had is lifted
Keep Taltz in reserve until you really need it
But that’s just my opinion Thumb

Thank you Dave. It's actually been a bit better as far as psoriatic arthritis is concerned. I did think there was a blip coming, but it din't last long. It's the psoriasis that it doesn't seem to be able to cope with and even at three weeks between shots it's no better in that respect.

Thank you Jim. The psoriasis doesn't get me down a lot, but because I have been clear for so long it's annoying when I get a flare up. At them moment I'm more on the side of better the devil you know and get through the winter knowing Cosentyx will keep the psoriatic arthritis at bay. But part of me also thinks a new broom sweeps clean, and Taltz could could not only keep the psoriatic arthritis away but may also ease the psoriasis.

Decisions decisions. What a week it's been.  Doh

Mmm tough choice Fred. Itch or ache. Personally I think I would stick with the cosentyx and just have a bloody good scratch. It would appear that it is holding the arthritic stuff somewhat in check even with the odd blip. And I have to agree with Dave it at take a while for the Talz to get a foot in the door.

Thank you John. The psoriatic arthritis has always been my priority hence the title of this thread, so I think you could be right.

Just got back form my dermatology appointment and we have decided to stay on Cosentyx but move back to the recommended dose of every 4 weeks instead of the 3 I was on.

Taltz was on offer but when I asked if I could switch back to Cosentyx if it didn't work so well for the psoriatic arthritis, she said she wouldn't be keen to do that. So I decided that as my priority was the psoriatic arthritis and I'm very happy with the way it is, I would hold Taltz on the back burner.

I have gone back to the recommended 4 weeks between shots as the 3 weeks didn't make any difference to the psoriatic arthritis and to be honest it didn't need any more help.

So next week will by my 2nd birthday on Cosentyx and I will continue till my next appointment in 6 months and go from there.

On a side note Enstilar is now available in France so I will be using that as and when I need it instead of the diprosone.

Psoriatic arthritis score: 1 could almost be 0 but I still obviously have it and still get a little stiff in the arms and fingers when waking up for around 5 minutes.

Psoriasis score: Staying around the 5 at the moment.

Congratulations on 2 years on cosentyx it's not doing badly for you with just need the psoriasis to get a bit more under control and hopefully the enstilar will help that Thumb
It would be nice to see the score come down ....fingers crossed Thumb

And save taltz for when you begin to struggle with the arthritis ...plenty of time and best not to burn bridges unless you have to

That's what I would have done Fred , the Enstillar is really good though it does take a while before it appears to work but it does work. All the best and I hope that the P can be brought under control, just got my Stelara and I have decided to stick with it at 10 weeks.

Thank you both. It was a no-brainer really as I'm taking it for psoriatic arthritis and very happy with the results. 87
