I look forward to the next instalment

Do they have to get clearance from the manufacturer of cosentyx before they can dabble with the dosing  ?

Thank you Jim. I'm lucky that I have a very good relationship with my dermatologist and she is sometimes impressed with my knowledge of the new treatments. She's not easy to get to see as she is at the top of the list, but I have been with her a long time and she knows I don't bother her unless I'm in trouble.

No we don't have clearance from the manufacturer, and I don't know if it is something that others could try. But I'm willing to give it a try and have started another thread about it if anyone is interested: Cosentyx 3 week regime
Worth a try Fred .... yes I saw your other thread here and on Twitter Thumb

It sounds like you have a good plan, I hope it does the trick for you. I know what you mean about keeping things on the back burner - and if it's working well for the arthritis that's a good reason to try out the different dosing first.

Thank you TL.

It took many years to get my life back and the Bio's have done that for me. It's now nice to know there is something else to try as opposed to waiting and waiting.

I know the Bio's are not for everyone, but when it get's to the stage of not being able to dress yourself or cut up you own food having something that makes you independent again is such a good feeling.

Knowing Taltz, Tremfya and the others waiting in the wings gives me hope that as I get older there will always be something to make life better, whereas in the old days without Bio's there was nothing that was going to help me.

as always; thanks for the update, hope the 3 week schedule will clear/control the P as getting your life back from PsA is worth so much, I (can only) imagine. Keep us posted, I'm rooting for you =]

Thank you Artemie. Smile

I wouldn't wish psoriatic arthritis on anyone. You can live with it for a long time with just a few pain killers, but when it hit's you hard it changes your life so much. So getting to 99% pain free is amazing, and I'll hold onto that as long as possible.

Forgot to mention that the pills the doctor gave me for the cold sore problem is working. I had 4 a day for a week and have to continue with 1 a day for three months.

So far so good and with a bit of luck it may fix the problem for good.

My dermatologist said I was right to report the regular occurrence of them and she is pleased I'm having it treated.

I agree that control of psa is better, but I understand your concern about anything getting worse. I think Matari made the observation that biosimilars might not be all that similar, and this is probably a good thing. Didn't a member get good control of p and psa with an il17 blocker?
