hi girls, guys and whathaveyounots,

Quite the long afternoon.. My dermatologist, who is on holiday, booked an appointment for me with a nurse, to stab me with Stelera. Or whatever, appointment said nothing. Nurse; where's your Stelera? Me; eh? Turned out the nurse was booked for me, the meds not ordered, instruction not sent to me AND the dermatologist forgot to first have my blood rechecked, because of the high liver damage blood values.

sigh, so, they found the head dermatologist, who had me first go for a blood test, results known laster this week. Until then, got sent home with Enstillar. For which the prescription was supposed to be sent to the pharmacy. Which it wasn't of course. so back to Dermatology, more excuses from the dermatologist, and back to the pharmacy...

All in all, glad I got to ask my questions and the blood recheck is what I wanted anyway, before starting Stelera. Afternoon gone, but we went home and made sushi, so all's well I guess  =]

Well ArteMie, that is again quite a story. One would think you went to the NHS... Wink
Anyway very good that you at least have your blood checked. Now chase them so that with your next appointment, everything is synchronised. Smile

update; dermatologist on the voicemail; liver levels are dropping rapidly, so all clear to start on Stelera. So nothing else wrong with my liver. Phoned immediately for an appointment; monday is first shot-time! And double checked to see if the meds would be waiting for me at the hospital apothecary.

Also on the voicemail I've developed anti-bodies to Humira, in no time I reckon. Which I suspected already, after endless googling in the past month(s) and the liver has always been good, notwithstanding some partying, only here ofcourse =] ArteMie had a strong body =]  Stelera journal coming up!
