I don't think that you are doing badly at all , nothing changed for me until after the second injection at 4 weeks and it was only then it started to work . I was very bad with the P and PsA though Stelara has never done much for the PsA .

I have been on Stelara about 5 years now but my PsA I am controlling the pain with Tramadol , the Stelara does improve it very slightly . I was looking at going on to the same as Fred but my derm wants to keep me on Stelara for the time being.

Wow 5 years on stelara and being effective on p sounds like a blessing. 
Dr prescribed me Celecoxib So will give that a go for the arthritis.

A lot of people knock MTX but it worked on the P up to 80% but was really good for the PsA for 9 years . Stelara has been a fantastic and has given me my life back because in the 12-14 weeks after I stopped the MTX I was covered virtually head to toe in P of all types of P.
I have been so bad in the past that I have been in hospital three times with the dam thing , the last time I was in for 8 weeks which was about 18 years ago now. Cyclosporine was one that I had and I thought I was dying on that the side effects were horrendous , Aceterin was another that was not good with ingrowing nails which I had to have removed in fact MTX was a life saver at the time.

I can see their point. Stelara isn't great for psoriatic arthritis, but it helped me for just over 6 years before giving up. It's not a patch on cosentyx and there were moments I needed some pain killers especially when it was damp, but it did help. It depends how bad the psoriatic arthritis is, but I found getting rid of the psoriasis with Stelara helped me get more positive over the psoriatic arthritis.

My advise would be stick with it and review like they say after 6 months, if it's not helping enough with the psoriatic arthritis but clearing the psoriasis then you can decide the next step.

4th week booster injection done, no side effects to report.
Improving more and more but still new spots come and go but not as serve and aggressive. Looking so much better than 4 weeks ago... I guess Stelara is doing its job slowly.

Hoping there will be more improvements in the upcoming weeks.

Great news spotty ......it's always good to hear when a treatment starts working .......pretty good for 4 weeks and heading in the right direction
