Hi Maryam I'm sure it's IL-17 among others but I'm not sure of the full details. Others here know more about the workings than I do.
There may be more information in Carolines thread here Dimethylfumarates and Psoriasis

I've also sent you a pm  Thumb

It is at least IL-17 and IL-23, but next to that DMF does many more things. Remember that this fumarate is a body owned substance. It is a part of the energy cycle of your cells, which is obviously quite essential.

Basically IL-17 seems to be most involved with Psoriatic Arthritis and IL-23 seems most connected to Psoriasis, at least if you look at it through your eyelashes.
That is why DMF works for both. A fact that is not known to lots of dermatologists and rheumatologists, but is despite that, well known by the patients who are using it.

tnx! I thought I read somewhere...here or on pub med that is also does something with IL-6.

I know DMF has a broader spectrum, I think the theory that psoriasis is in fact a metabolic issue should deserve more research.

I am however interested in the amount of interleukines it interferes with, because it would make it better dan any biological...

I think it basically is better because of its wide range of activeness and because it has a moderative effect, told to me by a guy who is doing a promotion on DMF for psoriasis.
Biologicals really block the workings of e.g. IL-17, DMF doesn't, it only reduces.
But we still have to deal with the effect on the intestines, we could better have MMF, and the effects on the lymphocytes.
