It used to effect the clothes I did wear, mostly avoiding dark colours so the flakes didn't show. I would also never take my shirt off or wear shorts.

I still don't take my shirt off in public (it would frighten people) I've also never wore shorts so I won't start now.

As for colours it no longer bothers me as the psoriasis is in remission.

I do still use a lot of cotton or bamboo in my clothes though as I prefer the feel.

For me it’s not so much what people might see, I don’t really mind that any more. But I have always had rough skin even before I had psoriasis - things like elbows and knees, rough dry hands - so it’s always been a challenge to wear delicate things like tights or silky material as it catches on my skin and feels horrible. If I want to wear them I have to use a generous amount of skin cream, but I’m more likely to pick something I feel comfortable in these days.

Only a little, as I mainly have psa.
But in stressful times I avoid dark clothes and avond touching my hair, as some flakes may come down.
Because of the less Psoriasis I can wear bikini’s, so no problem on the beach and in the swimming pools.
Furthermore I mostly wear dresses or skirts that are a bit longer, i don’t feel comfortable in a short skirt as my upper legs are a bit thicker and I have quite a white skin.

Remind them that they could be next to get psoriasis, people should not complain about others illnesses.

Wow, what century do they think they’re living in? What reasons could you give - ‘I don’t like looking at it’?

I have to skip wearing compression socks, somedays, because they're too hot and make the itching on lower legs worse.  And I don't wear shorts because even if the patches are quiet, they're quite discolored and noticeable. The same would go with open-toed sandals due to toe nails.
