Nothing to report really.  Ears had started to be a problem so I increased using the topical.  I do think the shampoo helps.  Today things are improved but with using the shampoo, topical and Skyrizi, I don't know where to put the credit.  (Ears had been a little better, today much better but I wouldn't think the injection from last night would have improved things much in only a few hours but I have noticed things get worse as I get closer to injection time when it's wearing off so...maybe it's helping?) Ankles have never improved so IF it's psoriatic arthritis then the Skyrizi isn't working for me on that for certain.  Honestly I think it might be helping and I might need ALL of them just due to the stubborness of my scalp psoriasis but I can't be certain.

I keep thinking I should lay off the shampoo and topical, but then I notice it gets worse and so it makes no sense to stop them totally.  It's obvious to me the Skyrizi alone can't clear it up.  Then I think maybe I don't need the Skyrizi..... but it doesn't seem like the shampoo and topical alone can do it either.  But it would take totally stopping for a period of time to know for sure on any of that and I don't want to let things go back to a possible major flare.  So I'm just keeping on.......

As long as you are following the doctor’s instructions with the lotions and potions you should be fine. I am glad it’s at least helping.

I injected Skyrizi on Saturday. Felt ok on Sunday but started feeling queasy Monday evening. Ended up throwing up (in case that's loss in language terms, aka tossing my cookies, barfing, upchucking, catting - don't like that one!) a few times Confused Stayed in bed most of Tuesday and I'm feeling better, although still not 100%. Missed my therapy appointment on Tuesday as I didn't think letting someone try to make me dizzy was the best idea at the time.

I haven't eaten anything that anyone else in the family didn't have except I did eat Sunday leftovers for Monday lunch, but I can't imagine that had anything to do with it. I didn't have a fever or any other symptoms other than being nauseous and having the stomach issues. I did read it's a possible side effect of Skyrizi so I'm listing it here. Although it was close to 48 hours after the injection, not sure if that matters or not. I don't normally have side effects from meds and not sure that's even what it was, possibly it was just a stomach bug.

Sorry to hear that.. Confused I hope you’re feeling better now. 12 weeks is a long time to wait to see if it happens again.

Good idea to make a not Kat, yes we say "throwing up" too. It's difficult to tell but I wouldn't think it was the Skyrizi as you probably would have felt something going on within 24 hrs plus you haven't mentioned it before after taking your shot, but I'm no expert.

Hope you're feeling better today Bigarm

Thanks, yeah I'm feeling better so probably just a bug. I haven't had any side effects with the Skyrizi but it was close to after the injection so made me wonder. As TL mentions, 12 weeks and I'll inject again. Should it happen after that then I'll start to think it's related.

Throwing up is one of the worst feelings.  I'm glad you are feeling better now.

So a quick update. I would say psoriasis is about the same, at a standstill some days are good, others are itchy and I can't say Skyrizi has helped, but I also haven't gone backwards so perhaps it is keeping things stable. I do feel the shampoo helps.

I have noticed this has been a year of sickness for me. Nothing major or bad but quite a few cold/sinus etc events, some sore throats etc and honestly things I usually managed to avoid getting in the past has caught up with me this year. Bascially if someone in the house is sick, I'll follow. I can't help but wonder if Skyrizi is to blame for my increased lack of immunity to things going around. I guess there is no sure way to know, but right now my thought is to just come of off it honestly. I have one more injection this year before re-evaluating whether to see if I'm eligible for another year or not on their patient program but as of now I'm thinking I just want to be done with it honestly.

Anyway, this cold is breaking up and I was just starting to feel better but now it's a bit worse. Sorry I haven't been around much this past week.
