Hi Alan, maybe we have got the same specialist for the P, I don't think that there's many of them in East Yorkshire in fact where I live the doctors in general are getting scarce.

im sure you know the doctor involved wouldnt mind his name being dropped on here. in fact i know he would love it. he's been on the telly and will be again soon. but if thats forum rules then so be it.

i think *** must be dead.

after creams then mtx then cyclosporin that built my bp up too much   i saw doc at spire and he put me on stelara. was on that for 10 years but it didnt help my pa.  then he suggested cosentyx. must get a bigger back hander from them. but that workled fine.   was on that a year or so gawd my memory, and then ive just gone onto bimzelx. another painful injection last weekend. just the pimples and spots on my body to put up with. prob around 10 plus at any one time.

Hi Alan. You must have gone on to Stelara about the same time as me , sorry it didn't work out for you, it's still working for me though I had to go from 12 weeks to 10 weeks between shots. Did my shot over the weekend, cyclosporine for me was terrible, I went over to Germany on business the week I started it and I thought that I was dying,it was a really bad trip in fact I was that bad on the Friday when I got back in London I stayed over until Saturday as there was no way I could travel back . Every one on here seems to knock methotrexate and though the tablets upset my guts when I went on to the injections it worked and wasn't too bad with side effects.
There's one thing about the Spire that it's somewhat more efficient than the NHS. .

The rule on doctors is in place for three reasons.

#1 Should a member post something bad about a doctor they can not post a reply to defend themselves as we don't allow medical professionals to post.

#2 Spammers and scammers have been known to post doctors names in the past to get free advertising.

#3 It's possible that some doctors may not be happy to have their name on our forum and it could end up getting me in trouble.

I know some of our rules are not popular but you are welcome to share doctors names via PM, and by not allowing them it keeps us independent.

Hope that explains.  Smile
