Hi folks.

Well it's only been a few days now, and I don't weant to speak too soon, but drinking 6 pints of water a day has greatly reduced the flushes.

I noe get a flush about mid day and it's so light.  Bearly noticeable compared to before.

My thinking is that the vastly increased water intake is flushing it through my system quicker.

Ill keep you all updated and see how it goes.  Hopefully going up a dose soon!!!!

Many thanks to all who suggested the water intake (and I really should have known better but.....)

Cheers Jim.

I was clear for a year and on 30mg a day.  Doc reconned it wasn't doing anything.  Anyway I've only got it lightly just now on my legs.  About 10% of what I had.  Cheers

Good luck. Do you mind if I ask about the increase of water intake?

Did you raise it slowly or just went for it? I ask because every time I try to up my water intake, I find although the summer is no problem it's almost impossible for me to increase in the colder days as it makes me want to pee a lot more.  Confused

I'm wondering if it's best to slowly increase it as opposed to try and go for it in one go.

*I don't use Fumaderm, but I would like to know if anyone had a trick to up there water intake.

I was probably drinking a pint a day, 2 coffees.  I knew it wasn't really enough.

Next day after joining here 6 pints.  just went hot turkey!!!!!

I have been known to get up during the night for a pee!!!!!!! But, I can honestly say it's quite amazing.  Not been up all week.

Apparently the urine is diluted and is less of an irritant in the bladder.

I haven't had as much today with working away etc so I'll see tonight.  Flush was 2 hours later than last few days but nothing at 0430hrs all week.

Thank you. I must try and increase my intake of water. I don't count my couple of coffees as I like it strong or my large glass of orange juice, I'm on about 1 Lt a day of water in the cold weather (almost 2 pints I think) and like I say the summer is not a problem as I need it.

But yes I must try and increase.

Good luck with the flushes by the way, sorry to go off topic.

It's great that increasing your fluid intake has calmed the flushes down ....
However I would struggle with 6 pints a day ( unless it was beer) Wink hope that you're on top of it now and the side effects will be manageable Thumb
